**About the Team**:
Our global finance team includes specialists from FP&A, Accounting and Payroll. In EMEA, we have a team of 8 who collectively, manage all accounting activities across the UK, Spain, France and Germany.
**The Opportunity**:
As our Senior Accountant you will be responsible for monthly accounting functions and general ledger close, including account reconciliations, journal entries, cash forecasting and P&L flux analysis for two French entities. Working in both US and French GAAP, you will be responsible for managing multiple accounting books in Netsuite.
You'll report directly to our Senior Finance Manager EMEA and be responsible for managing French tax and governmental reporting, working with local banks and accounting firms as well as preparing for and managing the annual audit process. Whilst Payroll is a centralized function here at UserTesting, you'll work closely with our Payroll Manager and local payroll partner to ensure employees are paid accurately & on time and accounted for correctly in Netsuite.
It is also likely that additional entities in other European countries will fall under your remit.
**What We're Looking For In This Role**:
- You'll have either a Bachelor's degree with a major or specialization in Accounting or be a qualified Accountant or French equivalent
- You'll have experience in a similar role in France or for a French company
- You'll be a fluent French and English speaker
- You'll have the ability to work cross-functionally in a high-growth, fast-paced and dynamic tech environment.
- You'll have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and be experienced working with stakeholders at all levels
- You'll need a high attention to detail and the ability to work with a lot of data
- It's essential you'll have knowledge of GAAP equivalents and French tax law
