Salesforce is committed to fostering a positive work environment and ensuring fair labor practices through effective social dialogue. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Labor Relations Director to join our team, working closely with the existing Labor Relations Manager, ES Business Partners, and the wider Employee Success team to enhance our approach to labor relations.

**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Head of Labor Relations EMEA, as the French Labor Relations Director, you will be responsible for fostering effective communication and collaboration between management, employees, Works Councils, and Unions in Salesforce’s French operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, resolving disputes, and promoting a harmonious work environment conducive to productivity and employee satisfaction. Additionally, you will manage Labor Relations government affairs to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and advocate for the company's interests. You will have and continue to develop an extensive Labor Relations network outside of Salesforce.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Labor Relations Strategy: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to maintain positive relationships with employee representatives and works councils. Align labor relations strategies with overall business objectives to drive organizational success.
2. Negotiation and Mediation: Lead collective bargaining negotiations, mediate disputes, and resolve conflicts between management and employee representatives to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
3. Compliance Management: Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations, ensuring company policies and practices remain compliant. Provide guidance to management on legal requirements and best practices related to labor relations.
4. Employee Engagement: Collaborate with Employee Success and management teams to develop programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
5. Conflict Resolution: Act as a trusted advisor and mediator in resolving individual and collective labor disputes, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
6. Communication: Facilitate transparent communication channels between management and employees, ensuring all parties are informed and involved in decision-making processes that affect their work and well-being.
7. Training and Development: Provide training and support to managers and supervisors on labor relations policies, procedures, and practices to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
8. Data Analysis: Analyze labor relations data and metrics to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement. Develop reports and recommendations to drive continuous enhancement of labor relations strategies and practices.
9. Networking: Leverage existing networks and establish new connections with relevant unions, labor representatives, and the labor inspectorate. Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in labor laws to ensure compliance and proactively address potential issues.
10. Government Affairs Management: Manage Labor Relations government affairs by engaging with regulatory bodies, advocating for the company's interests, and ensuring alignment with governmental labor policies and regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Law, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Extensive experience in labor relations management within a high-tech or multinational company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and works council structures.
- Proven track record of successful negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organization.
