Facilities Manager

Job Summary

The Facility Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the facility management service delivery system for the client. The responsibilities will include site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, equipment & supplies, occupancy services and helpdesk.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Provide the leadership to the Facilities Management team at the client site.

Drive a service excellence culture within the delivery and operational management teams. Create an environment within the team that drives continuous improvement and innovation.

Proactively develop and manage client relationships, ensuring that expected service levels are achieved.

In consultation and collaboration with all function’s managers oversee the operation, staffing, performance and development of the Facilities Management service delivery staff.

Understand the Facilities Management scope for the client assigned and develop client specific processes and procedures in consultation with functional managers and ensure implementation and compliance of the processes.

Oversee the development and management of the budgets.

Work with the Financial Manager to prepare the annual budgets for the Client and to work with suppliers to develop and deliver the annual budget with best practice.

Support the client in the implementation of short and long-term projects.

Special / Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior as and when required.

Proactively manage all facility services in accordance with JLL account and client standard processes and procedures, ensuring superior customer satisfaction; deliver an exceptional quality of service to the client, as reflected by client feedback.

Skills and Competencies
At least 5 years’ experience working as a Facilities Manager.

Technical facilities background preferred (Facilities Management, Engineering, Project Management or related job experience)

Experience working within budget and time constraints

Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements

Fluent in English language, both written and spoken. Other languages an advantage.

Excellent organizational skills required.

Strong interpersonal skills with training experience to guide multifunctional teams.

Excellent PC skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Interest in continuous improvement and development of new technologies

Able to work independently and use own initiative

Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

Ability to effectively deal with stressful situations and remain calm under pressure
