**Overview of the EACD Annual Meetings and Activities**: The European Academy of Childhood Disability (EACD) has organized annual meetings and events to promote knowledge exchange and advancements in childhood disability research and care. Below are some highlights: - **35th EACD Annual Meeting in Ljubljana (2023)**: Nearly 900 participants attended in person in Slovenia's vibrant capital, from 24-27 May 2023. - **34th EACD Annual Meeting in Barcelona**: Over 900 participants joined either in person or online. - **Meeting Theme**: "Networking Knowledge into Actions"—a platform for sharing knowledge and discussing real-world challenges. - **2021 Meeting**: Focused on "Childhood Disability in a Changing World," reflecting on COVID-19 impacts and future trends in rehabilitation and technology. - **2020 Meeting**: Conducted online from Poznan, with keynote lectures available for members. - **2019 Summer School**: A 5-day training on evidence-based medicine in childhood disability rehabilitation, with recorded lectures available. - **2019 Conference in Paris**: Held from 23-25 May, emphasizing "Innovation for participation." - **2018 Conference in Tbilisi**: Successful event with participants from 5 continents, 45 countries, and over 500 attendees. - **2017 Conference in Amsterdam**: About 960 participants from 60 countries, fostering interaction and collaboration. - **2016 Event in Stockholm**: Co-hosted with ICPC and IAACD, focusing on cerebral palsy and childhood disabilities. - **Other Notable Activities**: Elsass Foundation Prize Lecture by Helene Polatajko, and involvement of prominent researchers like Sally Ann Lynch, Catherine Haslam, and Alex Haslam.
