We are looking for a **Head of Logistics FAL**to come onboard in our **Operational Excellence & Logistics Directorate**in **Yannick**’s**team : a team of **11**collaborators

**_Your Mission _**

People management
- Manage, coordinate & develop a team of logistic coordinators to meet agreed objectives.
- Review and assess ongoing performance of your direct reports.
- Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required.
- Support team development and ensure alignment with business priorities
- Ensure that your team operates in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your direct reports.

Operational management
- Responsible for overseeing the logistics flows to meet the requirements of the final assembly line (FAL)
- Manage logistics-related budgets and cost control.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of components and materials to the assembly line
- Responsible for the management of the external & internal suppliers for warehousing, transportation, and other logistic processes ensuring full compliance with contractual commitments and key performance indicators (SLAs, OTD, OQD, cost, activity continuity and volume, training ).
- Responsible for the internal kanban logistic process for standard parts, consumables and chemical products.
- Responsible for the internal & external suppliers for the supply, the distribution and storage of consumables and chemical products liaising with internal stakeholders when required (Environment, H&S ).
- Manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, warehouse and transportation companies.
- Develop new strategies to streamline processes to improve operational and financial performance.
- Manage logistic supplier performance (KPI, improvement plan, ).
- Manage, Implement and maintain logistics KPIs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities.
- Update and/or create (if required) the logistics standard operating process and specific instructions related to your area of responsibility.
- Manage multiple priorities in a production environment
- Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process.
- Follow up the logistics budget under your responsibility.
- Review environmental audits for logistics activities to ensure processes are as environmentally friendly as possible. Review opportunities to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
- Provide logistics support to internal development projects and promote green logistics initiatives

**_About you _**
- Field of study: Supply Chain management, Logistics, Transportation or Engineering.
- Mandatory experience in Logistics & Transportation
- Advanced Excel user
- Knowledge of lean techniques is a plus
- Strong knowledge in ERP systems (e.g., SAP PGI and PEA)
- Strong knowledge of logistics principles and lean manufacturing
- Leadership skills
- Active listening and communicate clearly
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal & influencing skills
- Strong team player
- Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong planning skills
- Flexible and adapts easily
- Ability to handle multiple projects through to completion and to manage priorities
- Fluent in French, business knowledge English (Italian is a plus)
