**About the role**

Within the Project Development team, the Project Developer is responsible for supervising a portfolio of greenfield solar projects throughout their development phase.

They will work to get the technical, administrative, and environmental permits needed to build the plant, with a view to the granting of the building license, the grid connection offer, and the feed-in tariff where applicable.

Responsibilities include:

- Overseeing the completion of the environmental impact assessments
- Managing a series of external and internal service providers, including ecologists, agronomists, landscape architects and electricians, to ensure the overall consistency of each project.
- Designing, along with these service providers, the authorities and the farmers, projects that are virtuous, credible, and viable from a technical, environmental, and financial point of view.
- Representing Cero in dealings with the various bodies responsible for examining projects, in particular: DDT, DREAL, CDPENAF.
- Monitoring and reporting on the planning of ongoing projects and ensuring that the budgets allocated to them are respected.
- Carrying out a sector-specific legal & technical watch to ensure that projects are state-of-the-art.

**What will you need to succeed in the role?**
- A passion for renewable energy and the part that it plays in the ecological transition.
- Strong organisational skills
- Thoroughness in following up projects.
- Technical and regulatory knowledge of the renewable energy sector, particularly photovoltaics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to convince the various parties involved and explain and summarise complex stakes.
- Perseverance and abnegation in handling projects whose lifecycles span over several years, to overcome obstacles and find solutions.
- Excellent command of French which will be the primary working language.
- Ease in English, necessary to interact with the other departments of this multinational Group.
- Curiosity and open-mindedness about renewables and sustainable development in general, as well as agricultural issues.
