- The entity in charge of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) and other cryogenic processes within OneTech aims to support TotalEnergies' ambitions in terms of growth and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
- As such, we are recruiting a
- **LNG and Cryogenic Process Engineer M/F **whose main role will be to support the development of new projects by participating in the elaboration of global process schemes across the entire LNG value chain, from the liquefaction plant to the regasification terminal, to provide technical assistance to ongoing projects and operating assets, and to participate in the research and qualification of new technologies and develop know-how on upcoming energies such as hydrogen and Bio-GNL.
- The position is based in Courbevoie (92).
- Your main missions will be the following:
- Clarification of the client's technical issues with stakeholders and definition of the design basis and scope of work
- Modeling of LNG plants and cryogenic processes using commercial or in-house developed software
- Optimization of processes with the objective (e.g., energy efficiency, production maximization, or greenhouse gas reduction) taking into account technological limitations of equipment, impacts on licensed processes, and costs
- Development of process flow diagrams and equipment lists
- Preliminary sizing of equipment and piping
- Validate or contribute to the development of process design documents: Design bases, specifications, design reports, comparison of technical offers
- Review and validate process documentation issued by contractors
- Participate in or lead technical reviews (project reviews, PFD/P&ID reviews, 3D model reviews, HAZID, / ENVID, / HAZOP, technology qualifications).
- Engineering degree in chemical engineering, process engineering or oil and gas engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a process engineer in an engineering and/or oil and gas company, most of which was on cryogenic facilities
- Broad understanding of oil and gas, refining and petrochemical processes
- Skills in modeling tools such as PRO/II, Aspen HYSYS, UniSim Design. Good knowledge of other specific modeling tools is a plus (e.g. HTRI, CFD tools)
- Skills in equipment design including separators, distillation columns, heat exchangers, compressors and pumps
- Good knowledge of the main regulations and codes and standards of the oil, gas and LNG industry
- Fluent English required
