As a Service Sales Specialist, you will inform ABB customers about the service portfolio of digital control systems, digital, cyber security and service contracts of our customers in the Business Area Process Automation Division Energy Industries France for the regions Ile de France and West. You will contribute to promoting sales volumes and margins across the Service business portfolio, and regularly update the databases based on changes made on site. Reporting to the Sales Manager you will play a key role in implementing the Service sales strategy, focusing on the already established base and promoting various upgrades, adaptations and value added solutions.

**This position reports to**:
Sales Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Identify and develop sales opportunities within the existing client database
- Build long-term customer relationships; respond immediately to issues and demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of products and solutions
- Communicate contractual details in accordance with ABB offers and strategy; manage related administrative business processes
- Prepare and review sales plans and propose follow-up actions when necessary
- Actively promote ABB products and service solutions through marketing activities (e.g. trade shows, customer meetings), while monitoring trends to develop effective actions
- Implement offers and service contracts

**Your background**:

- At least 4 years experience in a B2B sales position in the industry
- Good knowledge of industrial automation and the energy, chemical, oil & gas and pharmaceutical markets
- Experienced in sales techniques, result oriented, customer oriented, market oriented and able to work in a team and in collaboration are necessary for this position
- Good level of English and French (read, spoken, written)
- Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
- Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) compliance: HSE is everyone's business
