Advanced Process Control Specialist

**Role Overview**

**We are looking for**:

- As an Advanced Process Control (APC) specialist, you will be part of the Industrial Function, and join the Advanced Automation & Analytics group, to deploy end to end Assets performance projects aiming to enhance the performance of assets in production and improve operational costs.

**We count on you for**:

- Bringing Industrial Focus, you will work with many partners of the organization in order to:

- As part of the Advanced Automation & Analytics group, you’ll play a key role in the building of the group plants of the future.
- Translate business needs in Process Control/Advanced Automation requirements & insights by interacting with industrial and operation teams
- Provide technical assistance to the production sites of the Group, including the start-up of new units
- Lead Process control projects to design and implement optimized process control schemes and/or optimized sequences
- Lead Dynamic simulation projects to support DCS functional tests or assess, improve and optimize new and existing process

**You will bring**:

- Required
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a process control specialist with exposure to batch processes
- Ability to design and implement basic and advanced control schemes as well as complex sequence logic
- Knowledge of ISA88
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Collaborative, able to work in multidisciplinary teams, open-minded and innovative, focus on customer value
- Fluent in spoken and written English & French
- Preferred
- Experience in leading and managing small project
- Knowledge of Aspen DMC
- Knowledge of OsiSoft PI or AspenTech IP21
