Extra Aeronautical Project Manager

VINCI Airports is currently looking for an **Extra-Aeronautical Project Manager (F/M)**.

On the existing portfolio, the Manager will be responsible for driving forward and managing key commercial projects that delivers the objectives of the concession agreements. Such projects may include for example retail concession, parking management, terminal redesign, real estate development. The Manager will also support the Commercial Department in the development and implementation of plans, strategies and reporting processes.

On the evaluation of targets for acquisition, the Manager will be leading analysis, market study, on site visit to assess thoroughly and exhaustively the risks and opportunities of extra aeronautical activities of a target.

As part of the exercise of its function, the Manager will undertake the following missions:

- Contribution to the group Strategy for extra aeronautical activities in line with VINCI Airports global strategy ;
- Contribution to the definition of the relevant performance indicators ;
- Ensure thorough implementation of this strategy at all airports and business units ;
- Oversee the management and definition of selected extra aeronautical projects of assets of the portfolio ;
- Identification and development of cross asset synergies in extra aeronautical fields ;
- Identification, overview and management of the project managers responsible for the delivery of the selected projects at each asset ;
- Construction of good relationships with the key stakeholders, in order to contribute to the success of each project ;
- Support the Business Development Department through the analysis and opportunity assessment of extra aeronautical activities for all target assets in all bids and the preparation and implementation of the strategic plan once the assets are acquired ;
- Monitoring the strategies, trends and best practices of the airport industry and other reference industries in activities relevant to extra aeronautical field ;
- Study of the needs and preferences of the passengers, through a continuous process of marketing research at all of the airports within the VINCI Airports portfolio ;
- Development of benchmarking studies in order to evaluate the trends, in international airports or in the local market.
- You have a tertiary qualifications in business, commerce or project management (or similar) discipline ;
- You have a diverse range of experiences working at or with airports across various disciplines such as commercial, operations, marketing, etc ;
- You are considered a generalist when it comes to airport management or a similar infrastructure ;
- You have successfully managed commercial projects at the airports or similar infrastructure ;
- You enjoy traveling and working in different cultures and locations ;
- Demonstrated experience in the analysis of various data ;
- Demonstrated expertise in a multi-disciplined environment ;
- Proven people management skills ;
- Well developed oral and written communication skills ;
- Self starter, highly motivated and disciplined ;
- Demonstrated high level conceptual thinking, creativity and analytical skills ;
- Proven negotiation skills ;
- Able and keen to participate in regular travel ;
- Proven ability to develop effective partnerships ;
- Be very fluent in English
- Proficiency in French is preferred.
