**About the job and your team**:
At Hydro, we’re seeking a visionary and results-driven Operations Director to take charge of our Extrusion sites across France, ensuring optimal performance and sustainable growth. As the leader responsible for the operational success of all current locations of Hydro Extrusions, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of our operations, drive performance, and lead a talented team to new heights.

**You will work on**:
Strategic Leadership & Performance Excellence:

- Operational Performance: Take full ownership of operational performance across multiple locations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- KPI Management: Leverage KPIs to monitor performance, identify trends, and take swift action to ensure goals are met.
- Budget Management: Oversee and manage the budgets for all operational sites, aligning performance with financial targets.
- Innovation Champion: Continuously identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and keep the company ahead of industry trends.
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional projects that extend beyond allocated sites, driving improvements and creating synergies across the business.

Commercial & Growth:

- Collaborative Development: Work closely with the Commercial Director to create and execute a robust business strategy that fosters growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Business Alignment: Ensure all operational initiatives align with Hydro’s long-term goals, driving both commercial and operational success.

Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:

- Operational Excellence: Continuously explore opportunities to streamline operations and share best practices across sites.
- Sponsorship of EBS Tools: Lead efforts to implement and sponsor continuous improvement tools, driving smarter ways of working across the organization.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

- Safety Leadership: Foster and maintain a strong safety culture across all operations, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with Hydro’s health and safety policies.
- Compliance: Ensure that all operations meet the highest standards of compliance, upholding Hydro’s reputation as a trusted and responsible business.

People Leadership & Development:

- Talent Development: Cultivate a high-performing team by creating an engaging work environment, driving employee retention, and ensuring the team has the skills to meet evolving business objectives.
- Training & Onboarding: Oversee comprehensive induction, training, and development programs for new hires, ensuring alignment with Hydro’s values and operational goals.
- Line Management: Manage and mentor operational leaders, providing the guidance and support needed to achieve success across the board.

Compliance & Culture:

- Culture of Compliance: Promote a culture of compliance at all levels, ensuring strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations across all sites.

**Your qualifications and skills**:
Experience & Education:

- Extensive Experience: +/- 10 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing operations, with a proven track record of leading and transforming high-performance teams.
- Educational Background: Minimum of 3-5 years of higher education, preferably a Master’s degree in a related field.

Leadership & Skills:

- Inspirational Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and engage teams toward common goals.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Resilience & Commercial Acumen: Resilient, results-oriented, and able to navigate commercial challenges with urgency and strategic insight.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Proven ability to manage customer demands while resolving challenges effectively and diplomatically.
- People Management: Demonstrable success in managing, developing, and retaining talent across a diverse workforce.

Additional Requirements:

- Language Knowledge: Fluent English combined with an advanced level of French (both spoken and written)
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to oversee operations across multiple locations.
