This is an exciting opportunity to join INSEAD’s Global Procurement function in the newly created position of Sourcing Specialist, Building Services (permanent, full-time contract) to be based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France.
Reporting into the Associate Director of Sourcing, this newly created post will be responsible for the full management of procurement processes and operations addressing mainly the campus development and renovation project of the Europe Campus. Over the next 10-12 years, the INSEAD Europe Campus will undergo a large-scale renovation and refurbishment project. To support this challenge, the Procurement Team needs to integrate a Senior Buyer who will engage in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Selection and Procurement of high complexity requirements with a focus on all building services and construction works. The Sourcing Specialist Building Services will then oversee and manage all relating tenders together with the project team, addressing more than €200m of spend, meeting school procurement targets and ensuring that goods and services are sourced effectively to meet school requirements.
The Sourcing Specialist of Building Services will be a key point of contact for all building works suppliers/vendors with the ability to consolidate and nurture supplier partnerships to optimize school costs and increase value in support of the school’s strategy, brand and standing.

Sourcing and procurement of goods or services of medium to high complexity requirements up to several million euros (several procurement projects may be happening simultaneously).
Analysing business requirements and managing supplier selection through robust sourcing processes.
Acting as primary point of contact for the Campus development project team, coordinating tasks and building trust with all relevant stakeholders through proficient communication.
Driving Supplier partnership, collaboration and conformance.
Meeting internally agreed Service-Level-Agreements (SLAs).
Being an INSEAD representative, upholding INSEAD commercial, ethical and legal standards with external stakeholders and vendors.

7 to 10 years’ experience of operating across building works and building services procurement is a must. This includes New Build, renovation and building maintenance contracts.
Experience in managing service contracts including buildings maintenance, construction works, and people-based services of medium to high complexity in the region of several million Euros per annum.
Ability to analyse business requirements, source, lead negotiations, and select appropriate suppliers through robust sourcing management skills.
Ability to maintain collaborative relationship with suppliers while effectively resolving supplier performance/capability issues to ensure alignment with the Campus development strategic direction.
A Project Management background, with the ability to define, manage, effectively galvanize and communicate and execute using known project management methodologies.

Executive level presence with high level communications and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment. Bilingual ability in both English and French is essential for this role.
