Position Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic and culturally fluent **Community Engagement Manager (MUSTR RESIDE IN PARIS)** to support member recruitment, event production, and partnership development with a focus on impact, inclusion, and excellence. This role is integral to our local and global initiatives, helping to grow our member base, elevate our events, and strengthen community relationships in alignment with our mission.

Key Responsibilities

**Membership & Engagement**
- Lead outreach and networking efforts to recruit new members and Brand Ambassadors.
- Foster member retention through personalized support and community engagement.
- Promote DEN at local events and community committees to boost visibility and relevance.

**Event Production & Curation**
- Plan, coordinate, and execute monthly member-only salons and annual fundraising events.
- Collaborate with Brand Ambassadors and creatives to ensure culturally resonant programming.
- Advise on tone, visuals, and audience engagement strategies for all activations.

**Partnership Management**
- Manage and nurture relationships with local brand partners, creatives, and community organizations.
- Align partnerships with DEN’s core pillars: arts, economic development, and health & wellness.
- Track the visibility and performance of Paris-based Brand Ambassadors, offering guidance and support.

**Marketing & Communications**
- Create and review marketing campaigns and promotional content for cultural sensitivity and impact.
- Translate internal and external communications (EN-FR/FR-EN) to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for bilingual audiences.

**Sales & Reporting**
- Develop and execute campaigns to drive membership sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Analyze membership metrics and event performance, delivering monthly insights and recommendations to HQ.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- Experience in **community engagement (REQUIRED)**, event production, membership management, and/or sales.
- Deep knowledge of Afro/Caribbean-French cultural dynamics and Paris economic ecosystems (particularly Paris).
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and **bilingual** (English/French **REQUIRED**) communication.

Compensation Package

We offer a unique and exciting compensation package that rewards your hard work and dedication. This package combines line-item event production services, event revenue share, and commission-based sales and includes:

- **Up to $3,500 budgeted line item + bonus** per annual Signature Event.
- **25% net revenue share** from Monthly Salon Events.
- **20% commission** on membership sales.

While this role does not offer an hourly/base salary, the **estimated monthly earnings: $2,500-$3,500 based on a 10-hour work week.**
