Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a self-motivated, high-judgement, well-connected and experienced public relations manager for France.

Key job responsibilities

**Responsibilities**:

- Regularly interact with senior French and international leadership to develop and communicate AWS’s stories and strategic messages.
- Support the development and delivery of the communications strategy and plan for France.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with technology and top-tier business media and influencers.
- Drive proactive technology and customer-focused stories.
- Regularly write and edit compelling media assets and plans, including press releases, blogs, and communications plans, as well as regularly update local messaging.
- Manage complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challenges with high-judgement and professionalism.
- Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and resourceful in problem-solving.
- Experienced management of an agency to support PR activities.

About the team
- A highly experienced senior communications professional with significant experience working within highly matrixed, complex organizational structures.
- Experience leading high-profile brand campaigns and working in a cross-functional team to deliver integrated campaigns.
- An understanding of global affairs, and a deep understanding of relevant EU and French policy topics.
- Experience managing media relations for a high-profile multinational and/or technology company with a strong network of top-tier media contacts across France.
- Experience working in B2B and technology communications.
- Demonstrable success working with senior leaders in high-profile situations, providing strategic communications counsel.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, including the ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Strong judgement and the ability to respond quickly, yet thoughtfully, to urgent PR matters.
- Fluency in a foreign language (ENGLISH)
- Ability to set strategy and execute flawlessly, with outstanding attention to detail.
