On April 1, the company was sold to EQT, a leading Nordic private equity firm, and now operates as a stand-alone company. **What will be your role ?** As Head of Innovation Strategy and Portfolio, your role will be to lead, drive and structure the innovation process. You will need to define, consolidate and update innovation strategies. You will be responsible for improving the culture of innovation throughout our organization and managing the innovation portfolio, as well as monitoring the allocation/prioritization of resources in collaboration with management. You will drive specific projects as a project manager. Your main tasks will be as follows: - Be a strong innovative partner within the innovation management team. Provide operational and strategic portfolio decision-making insight to the CIO/leadership team - Lead innovation strategy across our organization: drive innovation process, develop and consolidate strategies and strategic tools - Generate options and recommendations on project prioritization and resource allocation to secure robust R&D portfolio - Review and provide constructive feedback to strategic R&D proposals to improve quality of our decision process - Secure that appropriate portfolio management and reporting processes/tools are developed, implemented and maintained for effectively manage the R&D portfolio - Improve and maintain "best-in-class" project management - Take ownership of specific strategic R&D projects **Who are we looking for ?** You have 10 years of business and leadership experience in the food industry or similar industries. A strong track record within innovation strategy / developing strategies and tools, as well as in the management of projects and portfolios, are required. Experience in the evaluation of new products or technologies, both technologically and economically, is desirable. You know how to show strategic reflexion, and you are able to deal with ambiguity. You have strong leadership skills with experience in developing and leading an organisation towards high standards of quality and quantity. With a strongbusiness mindset, you enjoy keeping up to date with market dynamics and trends and are able to identify business opportunities for the organization. You have strong interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills and are able to work in a local and global cross-functional environment requiring stakeholder management skills.
