**Job Description**:
With the expected growth, the Purchasing Organization is at the heart of our company project “2030 Ambition” that aligns all group towards one same ambition : reinforce our performance, bring more value to our customers, invent the smart living, inspire and commit. More than 140 people in Europe, Asia and Africa compose Somfy Purchasing Department. To prepare and drive the function for 2030 plan, the Purchasing Department has set up a Purchasing Excellence Direction. This organization recruits.

Under the management of Group Purchasing Excellence Director located in Cluses (France), the Purchasing Excellence Project Leader drives excellence of the Purchasing Function in terms of performance and efficiency. He/she manages transformation projects within the group in relation with operational teams and animates the Global Purchasing Community.

In terms of mission, the new project leader will:

- Define and deploy lean purchasing processes with associated indicators. Ensure their adoption and revisit if necessary. Perform audits
- Build and animate the Purchasing Academy. Develop, build or specify new training modules
- Train buyers on rules, processes, tools and methodology. Reinforce competencies of the whole Purchasing community
- Proactively lead the worldwide Purchasing community. Develop, support, promote and capitalize best practices
- Actively contribute to spread throughout the Group Purchasing ways of working and policies. Manage the anticipation plan for each entity before our new IS tool deployment
- Define and implement processes and tools for Supplier Relation Management, performance management, sourcing, costing, resilience on both direct and indirect purchases
- Run specific projects to support transformation of the function
- Use digitalization and datas as levers and accelerators
- Coordinate with his/her colleagues (project excellence leaders, operational teams, BP)
- Build and capitalize the expertise on his/her field of activities
- Contributes to the improvement of the Purchasing performance

- KPI and reports
- New IS scoping and implementation
- Suppliers risk management
- Development of a Purchasing policy regarding sustainability
- Purchasing competencies development, creation of a Purchasing Academy
- Contractualization framework & delegation of Authority
- Non-strategic purchase outsourcing

Management:

- transversal : interaction with all purchasing community and business partners
- coordination with the 3 purchasing excellence project leaders

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree
- 8 years of experience of strategic and operational Purchases (if possible in a mature business), in a matrix and international organization
- Ability to drive transformation and lead the teams, knows how to manage change
- Ability to animate and coordinate a community
- Masters collaborative tools
- Appetite for digitalization & datas as value drivers. Experience in Purchasing Information System
- Performance oriented
- Large experience in project management
- High ability to convince, negotiate and communicate
- Rigorous, autonomous, spirit of cooperation,
- Knows how to work in cross functional teams
- Good pedagogical skills, ideally experience as trainer
- Fluent english speaker and writer, all work done in English
