We love to learn and genuinely find our purpose and passion in continuously improving our organization. **What would your role look like?** Within the Innovation department of Oterra, located in France at Prades le lez, you will join the “New Products Montpellier" team as Manager of the technical Pigment & Formulation plateform and Formulation experts. Your main responsibilities will be to: - Ensure performance of the Pigment & Formulation technical Plateform and drive Innovation within Formulation area - Lead the team in order to secure a strong engagement and motivation, efficiency and growing of collaborators - Ensure development and formalization of Formulation and Pigment expertise in collaboration with scientists as aligned with Oterra Innovation strategy - Collaborate as technical specialist to the building of strategies in his expertise field - Develop/Co-develop new products in line with the Innovation strategic plan - Ensure relevant communication and visibility of the team towards stakeholders from other functions and cultures internally and externally **Who are we looking for?** You are a Food Scientist with a university degree in Formulation engineering or similar, having preferably a Ph.D. degree and 10-15 years of applied work experience. Further you will bring in the following skills and experience: - Skilled in management of technicians and scientists and having a strong leadership - Strong background in Formulation technologies and related ingredients/additives - Skilled at food ingredients, practical experience with Natural Colors is an advantage - Good English, both spoken and written - Dynamic & proactive, rigorous, curious and critical thinking - Highly skilled in communication so as you can adjust your communication style according to the audience and can relate well to stakeholders from other functions and cultures - Skilled in decision making, forward thinking, problem solving **What we offer you?** France is home to Oterra’s Innovation division.
