Echoes is the European Leader in providing neutral server and specific web products serving B2B customers and fleet industry in the Short Rental, Leasing and Mobility Operators sectors. The Echoes solutions and products are based on a unique technology for collecting data directly from the embedded telematics technology by the OEMs. Collected data are harmonized and exposed to B2B customers via API or through products dedicated to specific needs and use cases.
Echoes offers Vehicle Data as a Service to B2B customers willing to use the data of their vehicles, for the time needed and with the flexibility required to build efficient and relevant business case.
Early 2024, Echoes merged with Moving Intelligence, a Dutch market leader providing top class tracking and security solutions for assets.
As a group, the objective is to become the European leader in telematics and connected vehicles solutions within 5 years.
**Position Summary**:
The VP Fleet Business is responsible for identifying business opportunities in the car leasing market and for executing the strategy to grow the business. You will collaborate closely with the sales teams in other countries and department leaders to ensure alignment, optimize performance and capture new growth opportunities.
You will lead all aspects of the sales process, while coordinating with other company resources for solution development, implementation, and customer support.
The VP Fleet Business assesses, clarifies, and validates customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customers.
This position serves as a management-level point of contact for key customers and builds and maintains strong customer relationships.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base in the car leasing business.
- Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
- Grow market share through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing business
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration across product, engineering, marketing and operations. - Own and exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Provides short and long term forecast to support revenue, product and solution planning
- Use market and competitor knowledge to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators that lead to increased profit and improved customer satisfaction.
- Build a team in line with the company strategy and business performance
- Manage and motivate the team to ensure each member becomes a high performing and engaged contributor to success.
- Maintain a clear understanding of industry regulations, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Elevate and promote the company brand and image
- Attend industry functions, events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and industry trends
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
- Good understanding of the challenges selling SAAS solutions
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills coupled with technical knowledge in the telematics technology, software development, automotive and other related applicable markets
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience with good network and track records
- Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales director
- Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
- Proven ability to position products against competitors
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability and willingness to work in international and fast growin environment.
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
