Emerging Market Economist

We are seeking a talented economist to provide insightful macroeconomic analysis, forecast the outlook for key economies in the EM space, and communicate impactful economic advice to internal and external stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities**: - Develop and maintain forecasts and scenarios for key economic variables in emerging market economies, likely focusing on Latam or MENA regions - Provide macroeconomic analysis for key economies, including monitoring economic data and constructing economic models - Communicate clear and precise economic advice to portfolio managers, clients, and the media, serving as an ambassador for AXA IM - Contribute to broader thematic and thought leadership research on the impact of the EM outlook on the global economy and financial markets **Votre Profil** **Requirements**: - Master's degree in Economics or related disciplines - Versatility to multi-task with an ability to cover several economies simultaneously and to operate in a dynamic field, a fast-paced organization and to tight deadlines - Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience covering multiple EM economies, with a focus on LATAM or MENA markets - Passion for understanding and explaining macroeconomies and their impact on financial markets - Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical analysis to diverse audiences - Self-motivated and be able to work alone with high attention to detail and good time management skills - Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish and French is advantageous - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel; experience with Eviews and financial data providers is a plus At AXA Investment Managers, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, interact with senior staff, and contribute to impactful research that shapes investment strategies.
