Our subsidiary **YATIC** is a digital services company active in the fields of industry, telecommunications, and defense.

We are looking for a **Mechanical design engineer **to work for our client specializing in **Energy.**

**Main responsibilities**:

- Collaborate on high level design activities and physical implementation of the functional design to ensure all product requirements and cost targets are met.
- Select critical mechanical components, materials, technologies and manufacturing processes according to best engineering practices, and according to internal standards, rules, design rules, Design Books and experience.
- Participate in the definition of the qualification test plan by optimizing the complete coverage of all performance and reliability requirements in relation to the risk/cost/duration of the design.
- Responsible for all technical aspects of the EPI, monitoring field tests and proposing corrective actions.
- Responsible for the creation of the engineering product file to ensure accuracy, completeness and manufacturability, and the compilation of its availability indicators.
- Contribute to the analysis of root causes of failures and the determination and implementation of corrective actions.
- Interface with the supply chain to identify and implement opportunities to define supplier skill requirements, select suppliers and reduce product cost and delivery time.
- Support the transition of production from engineering to manufacturing.
- Contribute to the optimisation of the manufacturing process to improve production performance and resolve supplier quality issues.
- Collaborate with the design team to create the supporting product file containing the information required to support the product.

**Profile - Experience**:

- Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Materials Engineering or equivalent.
- A good knowledge of stress calculations, material selection, manufacturing processes, and testing and assembly procedures.
- Knowledge of tool string mechanical architectures.
- Knowledge of Verification & Validation test procedures and equipment (shock, vibration, rotating bending, pressure, temperature).
- Knowledge of mechanical and materials design books.
- Knowledge of Product File standards and procedures.

**Salary**: 35,000.00€ - 55,000.00€ per year

**Education**:

- Master's (required)

**Experience**:

- Mechanical: 5 years (preferred)
