Our Brand & Retail Innovation Platform in Paris connects forward-thinking brands, retailers, and CPGs with startups influencing the retail & e-commerce value chain. Some of the focus areas we're looking into include the metaverse, supply chain management, 3D/AR, virtual try on, and customer data platforms.

**WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

We’re a diverse team with backgrounds in technology, business and entrepreneurship and we’re growing rapidly to deliver on our mission. We’re actively seeking a Ventures Intern to champion the Plug and Play business model.

**HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**:

- Sourcing New Startups_
- Source startups for the program and dealflows
- Organize and facilitate meetings with relevant startups
- Actively network with startup founders at industry events and conferences
- Source investment opportunities
- Dealflow & Program Management_
- Curate startup lists for corporate partners based on their technology interests
- Schedule and facilitate deal flow meetings between startups and corporate partners
- Be involved in the corporate program, facilitate panel discussions, etc.
- Perform additional operational work for Plug and Play Ventures as needed

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Master’s in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or related field
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively
- Highly organized, shown to meet tight deadlines along with consistent accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous internship experience in tech, venture capital, strategy, or consulting
- Proficiency in Apple Keynote, Google Docs, MS Office (especially Excel and Word) etc.
- Native or near native in French and English

**Soft Skills**:

- Hard working and a team player.
- Self-motivated and driven; proven to work independently, prioritize work, and achieve results
- Exceptional public speaking and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate with C-Suite executives
- Collaborative, diplomatic, and can cross-functionally partner with stakeholders across multiple offices
- Experience in/comfort with a role with a degree of ambiguity, requiring proactive analysis and action
- Strong desire to learn continually and grow professionally
- Passionate and knowledgeable about technology, startups and innovation.
