**Logistics Manager**

**What you will do**

Global Distribution EMEA is responsible for managing a region wide network of Logistics Service Providers to ensure we deliver on our promise of “Every patient every time”. The team partners with stakeholders inside and outside Amgen to manage our controlled distribution network, in a reliable, cost-effective, and compliant manner. We operate in a dynamic, changing environment that offers fantastic opportunities for expanding your supply chain knowledge, building innovative solutions, and delivering exceptional operational performance.

As Logistics Manager you will be the lead for management of third-party service providers focusing on operations where we have fully outsourced our order to cash and distribution activities. You will ensuring ongoing performance against agreed targets on distribution performance, as well as quality and cold chain stability. Together with regional and local Amgen teams you’ll ensure supply, challenge the status quo to create productivity, and be part of a diverse, international, and highly motivated team.

**In this vital role you will**:

- Ensure supply, meet service levels, and stay within budget in a GDP compliant way;
- Perform regular performance and business reviews with supply chain partners on current business, escalations, reporting, and improvements;
- Support internal stakeholders in escalating issues to supply chain partners by maintaining excellent relationships with third parties on an appropriate management level;
- Develop, select and implement cold chain solutions in the Amgen Supply chain;
- Maintain and manage agreements with supply chain partners.

professional we seek is a focus with these qualifications:

- Master’s degree or equivalent related to Supply Chain/Logistics, Change Management, or Industrial Engineering;
- 5 years experience in the logistics industry, supply chain, warehousing, or in a role of supplier management;
- Previous experience in project management across departments and geographies and experience in managing suppliers and improving processes;
- ** Flexible work arrangement**;
- Previous experience with GMP, GDP, SAP, and BW;
- Knowledge of Operational Excellence tools, six sigma, FMEA;
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) and French
