In the department of Open Innovation, dedicated to detecting, analyzing, and selecting on the ground new external technologies with regards to R&I strategic priorities, we are looking for a Technology Partnering Manager - Augmented Beauty & Digital Tech (M/W). As Technology Partnering Manager for Augmented Beauty and Digital Tech, you will scout and evaluate external technologies worldwide (AI/ML platforms, sensors, computational biology, devices, and diagnosis) that accelerate breakthrough research and new product creation. This role reports to the head of Technology Partnering Worldwide in the MANCOM of Open Innovation. Embedded within L'Oréal Research & Innovation, you will bridge external innovation ecosystems and our 4100-strong scientific community to shape the next generation of Beauty-Tech discoveries.
**As part of the role, your key responsibilities will be**:

- Augmented Beauty & Digital Tech: Strategically identify and prioritize key technology domains with R&I leadership, building a robust pipeline of promising technologies from startups, academia, big tech, and suppliers, integrating insights from the Watch team.
- Partnership origination & due diligence: Lead comprehensive technical due diligence for potential partnerships (pilots, co-development, licensing, investments, M&A); benchmarking technologies against global state-of-the-art and providing actionable recommendations.
- Internal integration: Orchestrate multidisciplinary project teams (biology, formulation, data science, safety, regulatory) to integrate external technologies into L'Oréal's research pipelines and product roadmaps, accelerating innovation and transformation.
- Thought leadership & ecosystem building: Cultivate targeted DeepTech ecosystems, representing L'Oréal Open Innovation at key events and building a global network of AI and life-science innovators to secure access to cutting-edge technologies.

**Required qualifications**:

- Advanced academic degree anchored in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence with a substantive interdisciplinary specialization (e.g., bioinformatics, computational biology, cheminformatics, biophysics, materials science), and complemented by formal business education such as an MBA-or equivalent proven business acumen gained through product-management leadership.
- 10 + years' cumulative experience in technology-driven roles, with hands-on product-management leadership and partnership execution at the core; may also include tech scouting and external innovation.
- Proven track record of delivering technology or partnership successes in sectors relevant to L'Oréal-beauty, personal care, skin health, consumer health, pharma, med-tech, or other regulated life-science industries.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills across science, legal, IP, finance, and executive leadership.
