A seasoned professional, you are ready to take on global challenges with an international impact in a fast-growing company? We are looking for our Indirect Category Procurement Global Director for Partnerships & Activations
With your team, you will define our global sourcing strategy(ies) to ensure that Culture, Communications and Marketing teams deliver maximum Return on Investment.
You will be based at The Island, our flagship office in central Paris.
Objectives:
- To ensure that Culture, Communications and Marketing teams deliver maximum Return on Investment through our partnership engagements, experiential activities- To ensure that our brand teams have access to the best resources and point of sale materials available, and these are deployed optimally (effectively and efficiently) to drive brand awareness and sales conversion on the on-trade and off-trade premisses;- Build and Execute the Global Procurement strategy playbooks for Partnerships/Sponsorships, Experiential & Events, L3F Activation and POS, underpinned by a robust roadmap to deliver against our business ambitions.
Your key missions:
You will define the Global Pernod Ricard Sourcing Strategy(ies) for in culture Partnerships, Sponsorships, Trade Advocacy, Experiential, Events and L3F activation agencies and POS;- Maximize value along 3 lenses: Buy Better (leverage Pernod Ricard’s scale & professional procurement practices) Spend Better (harmonize policies, processes and manage demand tightly), Track Better (spend performance, compliance, sustainability and diversity).- Lead change and deliver fit-for-purpose agency solutions for Experiential, BTL agencies, activation initiatives, POS development, sourcing and fulfilment.- Translating our overarching Diversity and S&R commitments into the category agenda and agency partners;- Prioritize initiatives to maximize benefits & monitor category budgets to drive cost optimization;- Accountable for the execution of negotiation strategy, contractual terms, legal requirements, and regulatory compliance of L3F expenditure and POS overarching model
You will drive efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing spend to increase ROI and manage POS portfolio to maximize brand equity & performance;- Partner with the Marketing Effectiveness team to develop a model to track impact ROI for Sponsorships/Partnerships and POS effectiveness.- Pursue opportunities to improve the current POS sourcing model, supported by a POS single-channel approach, robust processes and harmonized policies;- Lead the development and implementation of a codified Experiential, BTL & Print agency commercial engagement framework. Put in place a worldwide ecosystem for Pernod Ricard brand/marketing teams to have access to best-in-class POS materials;- Enforce compliance and how we manage our POS suppliers’ relationship in general. Develop a single-stop-shop solution to delivery BTL assets, activation and POS materials;
You will onboard key stakeholders & orchestrate transversal ways of working across our Brand Companies and Managing Entities to bring to life our Partnership, Activation & POS strategy;- Develop an internal and external PR/Comms plan that drives awareness of Pernod Ricard’s activities and success in the cultural and brand activation space;
You will be responsible for supplier identification, development and management:
- Understand supplier market dynamics/intelligence. Actively engage in the development process, new materials and future trends, bringing this back to Pernod Ricard;- Drive supplier selection, on-shore/off-shore supplier base development, and new supplier pipeline identification.- Strategic interface towards Brand advocacy teams, Cultural Activation teams, Trade Marketing teams and our BTL & POS Suppliers.- Responsible for a total spend of 350m EUR;- Owns the commercial framework and commercial relationship with our Integrators and POS suppliers;
You will manage directly procurement category manager(s) and analyst(s);
You will set functional targets, suite of KPI’s and evaluates performance - enabling us to track every single POS material;
You will actively participate to the PR Procurement transformation
_SmartSpend_), drive L3F & POS transformation workstreams and business alignment;
