**About the Team**
The Enterprise Account Manager, Public Sector role is dedicated to serving research organizations and institutions in France. Located predominantly in Paris, Île-de-France, this team thrives on a strong spirit of collaboration and agility, emphasizing a shared commitment to understanding and addressing the unique needs of the public sector. The mission of the team is to enhance Nutanix's presence in public infrastructure, ensuring that the company becomes the leading provider in this crucial area by leveraging technology to drive customer success.
You will report to the hiring manager, who fosters an inclusive and dynamic leadership style that encourages team members to be both innovative and accountable. The manager values a high customer obsession and supports autonomy within the team while emphasizing strong reporting practices. The role primarily operates out of the Nutanix office in Paris (hybrid model) and the team is expected to collaborate closely.
This position entails travel primarily within France and requires interaction with customers and stakeholders across the public sector, which necessitates regular trips to meet client needs and cultivate strong relationships.
**Your Role**
- Develop and execute a three-year strategic plan for assigned territory, focusing on account engagement and revenue growth.
- Identify and cultivate key relationships with public sector organizations, particularly in research and higher education.
- Close new accounts (logos) to help achieve your given quota.
- Enhance existing customer relationships
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers and team members to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
- Navigate and address business challenges by improving account segmentation and engagement strategies.
- Ensure effective communication with customers to understand their missions and facilitate adoption of Nutanix solutions.
- Provide regular, detailed reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and progress towards targets.
**What You Will Bring**
- 10 years + proven experience in enterprise sales, particularly in the public sector and research organizations (ideally)
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and infrastructure solutions.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans with a focus on revenue growth.
- Exceptional relationship-building and customer engagement skills.
- Demonstrated success in managing long sales cycles and complex negotiations.
- Technical expertise to articulate Nutanix products and solutions effectively.
- Analytical skills to assess customer needs and tailor value propositions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
