**What will your missions be at bioMérieux?**

As Junior Medical Communication Specialist, you will contribute to the development of medical communication plans, create and deploy communication actions for both internal and external audiences using appropriate formats and channels. You will represent the department in key strategic projects, such as World Health Days and be the teams’ referent for all communication actions. A collaborative approach to working in a highly matrixed environment is required to succeed in this position.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Develop high quality medical communications for medical training and medical education activities in order to increase their visibility and adoption internally and externally
- Play a key role in the development of the medical communication strategies (internal and external) and their execution
- Increase Global Medical Education activities visibility using social media (mainly Twitter and LinkedIn) and develop dedicated social media medical campaigns in alignment with company’s strategic priorities.
- Contribute to increase Medical Affairs visibility internally and develop the Medical Affairs branding and identity.
- Interact closely with other Medical Affairs departments and identify key activities and projects to be leveraged internally and externally
- Create and develop the Medical Affairs community to facilitate exchange and share expertise
- Follow and analyze impact of all medical communications on a regular basis
- Take part in cross-functional communication activities in relation with other key departments (Corporate Communication, Global Marketing Communications, )

**Who are you ?**
- You hold a master degree or above in life science (microbiology, molecular biology, infectious diseases ).
- You have an experience in medical/scientific communication and/or hold a diploma in communication
- You have an understanding of hospital/clinical/medical environment, a previous experience in Pharma/IVD is a plus

**Knowledge, skills and abilities**:

- Excellent command of the English language and very good written and communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Sharepoint, Teams, Powerpoint, Excel )
- Advanced Social Media knowledge
- Ease of use of creative tools (Indesign, Photoshop, )
- Ability to run multiple parallel projects
- Attention to detail, and a propensity to think creatively and strategically
- Pro-active attitude and able to take initiatives with solution-oriented mindset
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and intercultural environment
- Cooperative and team-player mindset

**Travel (domestic and international) expected to be 5 to 10% of the time.
