Reporting to our VP Design, you will be a key player of our growing Design team, working closely with all the Product Designers, UX researchers, Visual Designers, Product Managers and Product Ops, to ensure our Product Design team has a measurable impact on Scaleway’s products. You’ll play a key part in accompanying designers in their search for innovation and efficiency.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- 3+ years experience in a similar product design position
- Design tools & delivery hold no secret for you
- You are passionate about product design
- You have management experience with growing design teams
- Design Thinking inspires your work
- Exceptional communication skills: verbal, written, for both internal and external communications
- Very good command of English
- Lean methodologies adapted to an agile environment
- You are a team player and you want to play a role in developing your team

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivery:
To create the best impact and value, you’ll define the resource allocation and organization within the Product teams. Processes need to be adjusted? As a leader, you’ll be a key person to conduct and motivate change with agility
- Quality:
You know that a design is good only if it works With the Design Ops, you’ll define the right metrics to measure the impact of the Design team and production, internally and externally
- Coaching & Mentoring:
You’ll create opportunities, tools, and methods for the Product Designers to grow in a safe and ambitious space
- Culture & Advocacy:
Our team’s voice needs to be heard. In collaboration with the Design Ops, you’ll reinforce and evangelize the Product Design team’s practices and strategy by sharing success stories and ensuring Scaleway’s design resonates both internally and within the design community
- People & Collaboration:
You will be responsible for our Product Designers' career development. You’ll ensure the right level of collaboration by playing a facilitator role with the other teams (developers, documentation, or PMs)

**Location**

This position can be either:

- Based in our offices in Paris or Lille (France), partial/full remote is possible
- Fully remote in Europe

Salary Range

76,000 - 83,000 EUR per year
