At Seidor Gesein, we are looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team and work in a dynamic international environment based in Strasbourg, France.
You will play a key role in transforming data into valuable strategic insights, leading advanced analytics, big data, and visualization initiatives to support informed decision-making across the organization.
Tasks
- Data Analysis & Integration: Collect, clean, integrate, and analyze internal and external data sources, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Visualization & Insights: Design dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or Cognos, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Big Data & AI: Propose high-impact business solutions, explore AI tools, and optimize analytical processes.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and ethical guidelines.
- Business Support: Help teams interpret analytical results, define effective KPIs, and maximize the value of BI and reporting initiatives.

**Requirements**:
Requirements
- Higher education degree: Master’s or equivalent (minimum 4 years of studies).
- \+3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Science, or Advanced Analytics.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical models, statistics, and data analysis.
- Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Cognos).
- Experience in big data environments and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to define and monitor strategic KPIs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to Have
- Knowledge of IBM Cloud Pack for Data.
- Experience with BIGSQL Data Modelling Language and SQL.
- Advanced experience in Cognos administration.
- Familiarity with data science libraries such as scikit-learn or ELKI.
