You will contribute to building and maintaining a virtual assistant system for Biomedical researchers that uses agents & tools to explore public biology knowledge, Owkin proprietary data and client data in order to power drug discovery decisions. More specifically the role is focused on designing and optimising data workflows (storage, querying, analytics, etc) for agentic capabilities. **In particular, you will**: - Design, implement, and maintain a data-intensive applicative stack including large language models components (agents, tools, retrieval-augmented generation) and visualisation capabilities for omics (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics) data - Build, optimize and maintain data architectures (e.g. datalakehouse) for ensuring real-time data analysis - Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with Airflow to process large-scale, complex datasets - Enable Applied AI teams to compute, store and index data for making it explorable by the agentic system - Collaborate with product managers, engineers and scientists to implement features that benefit drug discovery practitioners - Support and improve our CI/CD pipelines, development workflows - Participate in incident response to ensure high availability and reliability **About you**: More than a list of requirements, we are looking for a skilled individual with a "can do" mindset, able to mobilize their experience to deliver value as part of a team.
