you will be managing and joining a small yet dynamic team, less than 3 people in this departement team, with great ambitions to grow up in the next few years

risk
drives risk mitigation strategy and advises on issues that present risk to its reputation, legal and financial condition as a healthcare impact fund
collaborates closely with the finance partner across various work streams related to the control of risks, safeguarding of assets, compliance with rules, accurate and reliable accounting, and management information, with a view to bolster commitment to impact investment, responsible development and sustainable growth.

legal fundraising
acts as a trusted advisor to the head of the investor relation team and delivers strategic legal counseling on the legal implications of all major fundraising transactions
Drafts, revises, and supports the negotiation of contracts with investors, ensuring that contractual terms provide compliance with relevant regulations and legislation

compliance
monitors and reviews new regulatory developments to be applied to the business as necessary.
identifies potential conflicts of interest and implements management rules (_e.g. _register of conflicts of interest, chinese wall)
provides practical and hands-on training to internal staff on compliance, regulatory and aml
acts as the official correspondent of the supervisory authorities, and, as such, submits regular reports on activities...

you
you are a lawyer by training and have worked with funds, private equity firms and investment banks (as counsel and/or employee)
you are bilingual in english and french
you are determined to succeed and are not afraid to work independently
