**Your role**

We’re looking for an experienced engineer to help us build our proprietary trading stack, with a focus on systems related to data & control. Design high-performance datastores to serve our latency-sensitive trading-strategies, build a world-class data platform to support cutting-edge quantitative research, or create outstanding control tools to ensure the safety of our operation and unlock deep insights into our business. **What you bring to WEBB**
- ** Industry experience**: 2-5 years of engineering in HPC, large-scale data infrastructure and/or real-time systems as a software or data engineer
- ** Technical mastery**: Strong expertise in Python and/or C++, excellent understanding of relational databases and alternatives, ability to efficiently drill into available data for answers and metrics; web development skills or proficiency in statistics and/or financial theory will significantly boost your chances of success
- ** Impact mindset**: You make decisions with purpose, always considering the broader impact on performance and efficiency
- ** Business-oriented**: You seek to understand what the company needs to succeed and how the trading industry works, ensuring your work always aligns with the interests of the organization
