Finance Accountant French and English Speaking

Your mission

What does a Finance Accountant French and English speaking (M/F) do within the thriving world of the renewables? Well, let\'s have a lok together shall we?
- You will report to your manager, who is based in Lyon/France. Working languages will be English and French. Together you will take care of all concerns of the finance department of the subsidiary in France.
- Responsible for the monthly report and year end closing report according to French GAAP and coordination of the group reports according to IFRS. Advice on local accounting and taxation issues. Ensure the reporting to parent company. Coordination of French auditors, tax authorities and external service providers (bookkeeping etc.).
- Assisting in budgeting process and yearly forecast to be reviewed by the EMEA Management and Headquarter. Support in preparing data for Cash flow management.
- Assist in maintaining and improving the internal control process between headquarter and subsidiaries.
- Ensure that all systems that generate accounting / taxation related entries are in compliance with local French requirements.
- Eventually support in bookkeeping matters.
- Support in the creation and optimization of standardized processes and structures, in cooperation with the EMEA headquarters in Munich / Germany.

**Profile**:

- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a similar degree.
- 3-5 years of practical working experience in Accounting and Finance in France.
- Experience in an auditing firm in France and in an international environment desirable.
- Professional experience in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for France as well as Bookkeeping. French GAAP must have. IFRS knowledge nice to have.
- Good knowledge in tax regulations (VAT/CIT) for France and other regular finance reporting needs.
- Knowledge in Controlling, Budgeting, Pricing is a plus.
- Experience in international tax topics and transfer pricing is a plus.
- Fluent French (C1/C2) and English (minimum B2) language skills are mandatory. Daily business language will be English and French.
- Autonomous, structured and self-reliant way of working.
- Very good organizational and communication skills, especially in an international environment.
- Positive attitude and hands-on working style.
- You can either be located in Lyon or in another city in France (Hybrid modell). Regular business trips to our French office in Lyon will be necessary on a weekly or bi-weekly base.
