JOB DESCRIPTION AND MAIN TASKS
Our company proposes a 6 months internship for a **Technology & Cost Analyst trainee **to help us to further develop our Semiconductor Devices Department.
The objective of the internship is to oversee the technology and industry insights from manufacturing trends and design of advanced semiconductor devices to modelize and improve the internal costing methodology and tool.
Integrated within the Semiconductor Devices Department you will mainly contribute to the analysis of silicon wafer manufacturing of advanced transistors used in leading edge processors including their design analysis.
The internship involves analyzing the cost of manufacturing of the advanced FinFET transistors used in SoC’s:
- FinFET 12nm, 7nm, 5nm/4nm
You will further explore interesting topics on the next generation of FinFET transistors using 3nm process node.
This position could lead to a permanent contract.

As a **Market** & **Technology** **Trainee** **Analyst** **your** **tasks** **will** **be** to*:
- Understand and describe manufacturing processes thanks to structural and physical analyses made by our internal laboratory
- Interact with the laboratory analysts to follow the physical analysis of devices (chemical and mechanical opening, optical and SEM microscope inspection, cross-sections )
- Understand the impact of the manufacturing process flow to calculate production cost
- Understand and update technical information on manufacturing processes and cost through survey, interviews and publication research
- Learn how to use the System Plus costing tools to simulate the manufacturing processes and add to the database
