- ** Identify & manage senior merchant relationships. **Identify & develop key strategic players within merchant organization that will elevate partner discussions to focus on growth.
- ** Providing day-to-day oversight of the business. **Proactively manage the ongoing needs of the merchant and provide guidance to internal teams to ensure the highest quality customer service on all matters ranging from strategic to executional.
- ** Identifying and quantifying merchant investments.** Identify merchant investment & partnership opportunities that will jointly benefit merchants and Visa, develop appropriate business cases and forecasts, advocate for funding, track performance/return of invested funds, and use learnings to inform future investments. Gain alignment & merchant buy-in.
- ** Driving positive merchant outcomes.** Consultatively identifying and prioritizing merchant needs and crafting customized solutions that grow the merchants’ business and increase merchant satisfaction with Visa products/services
- ** Establishing strong internal partnerships.** Establish fluency in all Visa merchant-facing solutions. Collaboratively define responsibilities for various merchant outcomes with internal partners. Articulate merchant needs and influence product/capability road maps by leveraging merchant feedback.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

**Qualifications**:
Profile for success/Qualifications

Qualifications include:

- Strong external sales/business development background with product and / or marketing experience and abilities, preferably with large merchant clients
- Strong knowledge of the French payment ecosystem with focus on French merchants
- Strong commercial mindset, with budget and/or P&L experience preferred
- Experience working in the Travel & Entertainment, Grocery and/or Retailer space
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in client facing roles and internal constituents
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with high level of success/achievement
- Demonstrated leadership ability, including the ability to manage internal and external resources and cross-functional teams
- Prior experience working with or for merchants and issuers; digital/mobile payment and/or loyalty experience a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelors or Graduate level degree preferred
