At Algolia, we are passionate about helping developers & product teams connect their users with what matters most in milliseconds We're looking for an organised, flexible, and detail-oriented person who's enthusiastic about both the practical and operational as well as the more creative work of our HR department. Our EMEA team is growing rapidly in Paris and London and we'll need our People Operations, Apprentice to hit the ground running; owning employee data, being in charge of great on - and offboarding experiences for our team, and generally being the go-to person for everything related to benefits and administration across our EMEA offices. YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF: - Supporting and delivering our five-star onboarding experience (partner with our Recruiting team to prepare the arrival of new hires, contracts creation, Schools relationships ) - Participating in the french administration and Support the Tier 1 HR point of contact for all employees (employees life cycle, benefits, leaves of absence...). - Collaborating on Payroll cycles with our Finance and Sales Operations teams - Updating our HR documentation based on local compliance and our internal processes YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE: - Strong attention to detail - Keen to learn in a fast growing startup - Strong communication skills, unquestionable integrity, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential People matters - Care about people and their happiness at work: a sincere customer service approach is key - Autonomy/curiosity - Excellent spoken and written French & English skills (all work exchanges are done in English) WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN LIVE OUR VALUES: - GRIT - Problem-solving and perseverance capability in an ever-changing and growing environment. - TRUST - Willingness to trust our co-workers and to take ownership. - CANDOR - Ability to receive and give constructive feedback. - CARE - Genuine care about other team members, our clients and the decisions we make in the company. - HUMILITY - Aptitude for learning from others, putting ego aside.
