The Global Sustainable Finance Group (“GSFG”) collaborates across BofA’s eight lines of business and strategic enterprise, including the ESG and Public Policy teams, to (a) provide data transparency, (b) expand and (c) innovate BofA’s Sustainable Finance activities, in order to achieve BofA’s ambitious $1.5 trillion in sustainable finance activities by 2030.

Sustainable Finance aims to mobilize and scale financial capital and human innovation to accelerate financings to companies and projects that are aligned with the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (“UN SDGs”), along two pillars:

- ** Environmental Transition**: address climate change and resource / waste management in energy and agriculture
- ** Inclusive Development**: promote community development, affordable housing, access to basic services, financial inclusion, and racial and gender equality

In service of these two goals, GSFG has launched a Development Finance Framework (DFF) to deepen engagement with Development Finance Institutions (DFI) and the development partner community, and to increase financing together with DFIs and in emerging markets. GSFG seeks to hire a VP to work on deal origination across multiple products and to support day-to-day dialogue with clients. The position will provide a unique opportunity to gain an overview of BofA's Sustainability strategy and business operation and interact with a wide range of people across the bank.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Maintain day-to-day dialogue with Development Finance clients and support the development of new client relationships to establish new business opportunities and for product development
- Develop relationships and knowledge on interests of impact investors by sector, product, geography, and SDG
- Lead research efforts and development of key materials for clients and senior management discussions, including on new social and sustainability products, market trends, Blended Finance, use of IMF Special Drawing Rights etc.
- Lead design and implementation of data capture and reporting systems, including data visualization, for BofA development finance activities that contribute to the overall Global Sustainable Finance goals.
- Actively manage the Development Finance Framework (DFF), engaging with LOBs on results and opportunities, identifying qualifying DFF transactions, deepening analysis on flagged sectors and transactions, and assigning SDG goals to activities
- Contribute to internal innovation of new approaches, tools, processes, online solutions and communications, including marketing materials, to capture and share knowledge and to strengthen the management of Sustainable Finance at BofA

**Core Skills**
- Prior experience in structured finance or capital raising products involving Multilateral Development Banks and Development Finance Institutions
- Experience in financial modeling across the capital structure with demonstrated credit analysis and assessment capabilities
- Understanding of corporate finance, tax, accounting and regulatory rules, sustainability frameworks and metrics
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated ability to distill key messages from complex information for management decision making and business development
- Strong data and analytics skills to gather, analyze, report, and present data for management decision support and business development
- Superior project management skills with sound judgment and ability to deliver under tight deadlines
- Consistent attention to detail
- Leadership skills and ability to influence
- Fluent in English and in French with other European language capabilities highly valued
- Master degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance or relevant fields
- Ability to take initiative, work independently with accuracy, and articulate independent views
