Who we are looking for:
A senior regional manager responsible for all aspects of regional support and daily governance of Middle Office support functions for an EMEA administered client. The senior manager will have direct reporting lines over local support functions in the portfolio services and reconciliations services. Furthermore, this role faces off against senior management on the client’s side and will be tasked with maintaining excellent client relations as well as serving as a senior escalation point for the client as well as internal teams.

What you will be responsible for:
As a Vice President within EMEA Middle Office Client Delivery you will:

- Manage the daily BAU onshore team for a specified IM client for EMEA within the reconciliations and portfolio services functions
- Take full responsibility for the delivery of these functions as part of the key services provided to our client
- Act as the accountable manager responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the data included in the Middle Office records sent to the client.
- Provide local management including regular reviews, objective setting and planning in line with business line and corporate goals.
- Deepen and maintain key contacts and relationships with the client.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders including other business lines and corporate functions as well as external stakeholders (custodians, brokers etc.).
- Serve as senior escalation and closely monitor escalation queries and facilitate accurate and timely responses and resolution
- Identify areas for opportunity to streamline and enhance current processes within the Middle Offices servicing teams
- Work with functional leads to rationalize and harmonize various client deliverables across functional and product lines
- Support Senior Management in any client orientated scope of service definition and SLA negotiations
- Constantly review policy, procedures and controls in order to reduce risk and enhance operational service delivery and effectiveness
- Proactively work to conceptualize and implement measurable process improvements and client solutions
- Support senior regional and global management in strategic initiatives

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

- Minimum 7 years in investment management operations with a minimum of 5 years staff management at a senior level and including offshore staff
- Minimum 7 years experience of client communication and interaction at all levels
- Good product knowledge across a varied product scope as well as familiarity with basic accounting principles across products and including income events with knowledge of alternative investments beneficial
- Minimum 5 years client facing experience
- Custody and Back Office experience a plus
- Experience in leading high profile client projects from systems integration to onboardings and migrations
- Proven track record in leading change
- Basic Excel, Word and Power Point skills preferred
- European language skills with emphasis on French a plus
