Within Symrise, the Taste, Nutrition and Health segment draws on its expertise and scientific research to offer its customers and partners unique, sustainable solutions based on natural ingredients in the fields of taste, nutrition and health. With over 100 sites in more than 40 countries, the segment serves the food and beverage industry, as well as pet food manufacturers and aquaculture.

The Pet Food division offers nutritional solutions for pets. Symrise Pet Food is the world leader in high value-added solutions to improve the well-being of cats and dogs and the satisfaction of their owners.

To study food acceptance, feeding behavior and interactions between owners and pets, the division has four centers of expertise with around 1,000 dogs and cats. Symrise Pet Food serves its customers from over 30 production sites worldwide.
**Your role**
The R&D Sensory Project Manager's objective is to provide solutions applicable to Symrise Pet Food Business:

- Manage research projects from ideation to publication. This includes protocol validation, research contracts, ethical review, final report and scientific publication. This may include supervision and guidance of trainees or PhD students on specific projects.
- Keeping internal customers involved in projects by defining the right rhythm of communication and involvement.
- Suggest potential means of implementation. Transfer the required knowledge to internal teams.
- Support the departments with this specific expertise: RD, Panelis, Marketing, Sales.
- Communication / Scientific network / Transversality: Communicating progress and consolidating know-how and knowledge of expertise.
- Promoting knowledge and results.
- Protecting innovations.
- Present results to stakeholders: partners, customers and in-house.
- Build a scientific and technical network of experts in the area of expertise and develop partnerships.
- Participating in conferences, proposing and presenting research work.
- Carry out all related activities required by the role.

**Your profil**
- Master's degree or engineering school in food science with 1 to 3 years' experience in a project management role
- Knowledge of food products and processes and sensory analysis
- Ability to learn, creativity, curiosity and open-mindedness
- Knowledge of ethology, biology, artificial intelligence, etc.
- Ability to integrate and work as part of a team, good communication skills, cross-functional teamwork.
- Fluent English
