Join us as our very first **Lead General Accounting** to steer Qonto toward our continuous growth trajectory Your role will be to ensure global general accounting's ongoing accuracy and lead a skilled team across France and Germany. You will work in very close collaboration with **Marjorie**, our Head of Accounting & Consolidation, to reshape our accounting processes, and our standards, and drive change to support our success in the best way possible.

**‍‍ As a Lead General Accounting at Qonto, you will**:

- Oversee and **ensure the accuracy and consistency** of Qonto’s global general accounting practices
- Lead and upskill a diverse **team of 5 great talents**:

- Spearhead **change management initiatives**, including the upgrade of Information Systems and transition to IFRS
- Ensure **seamless monthly and yearly closings** and serve as a key stakeholder to external auditors and internal teams
- Cultivate a **hands-on approach** to solving complex accounting challenges

**About your future manager**:
**Marjorie**, your future manager, brings a wealth of experience in accounting and consolidation gathered from her first years in audit and corporate environments. Her leadership style promotes autonomy, innovation, and a strong sense of team spirit.

**About You**:

- You have a **solid background in accounting **gathered in both audit/accounting advisory and corporate, with in-depth knowledge of **French GAAP** and **IFRS **(ideally DSCG or DCG)
- You have **strategic thinking in line with business goals** and also can roll up your sleeves when needed
- **Proficient with major ERP systems** (e.g. SAP, Sage or Oracle) and you like to leverage technology to streamline processes
- Excellent **problem-solving skills**, capable of **driving change** and fostering a culture of **continuous improvement**:

- You are experienced in managing a team before and are willing to **orient and support your team members**:

- Based in Paris or willing to relocate, with excellent communication skills in both English and French.**Perks**
