**Key accountabilities**
- Oversee purchasing, receiving, and storeroom operations in conjunction with hourly staff with regard to Food, Beverage, and General Storeroom items.
- Assist staff with deliveries, requisitions, and orders.
- Manage order guides for assigned product categories.
- Maintain month end inventories for beverage and general storeroom within the Birchstreet system.
- Ensure invoice processing and receiving postings are completed in a timely manner in conjunction with receiving.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to improve the food ordering cycle.
- Work with Laundry and Housekeeping management and staff to create and implement a linen tracking procedure to monitor loss

**General requirements**
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Purchasing management position, preferably in a hotel
- Ability to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and positions, service orientation towards both internal and external customers.
- Outgoing, flexible, detail oriented and strong organizational skills. Good communicator
- Approachable, organized, ability to handle pressure, works well with diverse personalities
