You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:_**

Within the Operations Department of Sephora Collection, you will join the Distribution and Inventory Planning_ _team as a Transportation Manager.

As a Transportation Manager, you are responsible for organizing and overseeing the execution of transportation from direct suppliers (Asia and North America) and the global warehouse (France) of Sephora Collection to the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) in the United States.

**Areas of Responsibility**:

- Validate and coordinate merchandise pickup requests submitted by suppliers to the 3PL Transport provider.
- Collaborate with the 3PL Transport provider to anticipate demands and provide visibility on shipment volumes.
- Monitor the proper execution of transportation and import customs clearance, providing visibility to the central Distribution teams.
- Communicate regulatory documents associated with products to the 3PL Transport provider and ensure their compliance.
- Ensure resolution of disputes related to transportation involving the carrier, central teams, and local teams at the US RDC.
- Monitor transportation/customs/disputes resolution costs evolution and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Track the performance of the 3PL Transportation provider.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the performance of the 3PL provider.

- Professional Experience:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac +3).
- Significant experience (5-7 years) in the field of Transportation and Customs.
- Experience in managing transportation 3PLs.
- Experience in managing Europe to North America shipping flows.
- General Qualities:

- Strong sensitivity to data management/quality.
- Focus on reporting, operational management, and customer service.
- Active listening, proactive, and attention to detail.
- Autonomy in dispute management and 3PL management
- Ability to quickly understand all aspects of the company's business and its general functioning.
- Ability to work in a challenging and transforming environment.
- Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP), TMS (Transportation Management Systems), transportation tracking tools, Microsoft Office Suite (advanced levels of Excel).
- Advanced understanding of Incoterms.
- Good mastery and affinity for databases (Data Management).
- Fluent level in English (written and oral)
- An APICS license would be a plus.
- Proficiency in Data Visualization and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Qlik, Looker, etc.) would be a plus.
