- Working directly with the Planning Advocacy and Strategic Messages team leader, the other REN Strategy departments and the Company and GRP Institutional Relations, your main missions will be to:
- Coordinate the writing of strategic messages including notes, language elements, files, supports and content for spokespersons (more than 200 per year);
- Ensure the link with the teams abroad and validate the consistency of the strategic messages;
- Assist in the preparation of notes, position papers or strategic studies for the department;
- Participate in the preparation of REN management and COMEX files for public authorities in coordination with the DAP and the GRP strategy department
- Ensure the necessary support for all types of advocacy actions (conferences, forums, hearings, etc.) in collaboration with the DAP, GRP and Holding teams;
- Monitor issues impacting the company or the institutional relations engaged;
- Mapping professional federations and associations as well as international events and conferences related to the Renewable Energy business;
- Participate in the mapping of regulatory and advocacy risks.
Other tasks may be assigned according to needs, opportunities and your skills.
**Context and environment**
- Position within TotalEnergies Renewables, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TotalEnergies dedicated to the development, financing, construction and operation of large-scale solar and wind power plants and electricity storage facilities. The Renewables Division contributes to the Company's ambition to develop 100 GW of renewable capacity by 2030. In this context, TotalEnergies Renewables is developing projects involving joint ventures, tenders and M&A processes outside France, as appropriate.
- Total Renewables' strategic planning team contributes to the Group's ambition by coordinating and supporting the growth of the various business units active in all renewable energies (solar, onshore/offshore wind and storage).
- Within the REN strategic planning team, the main role of the Advocacy and Strategic Messages teams is to:
- Designing content and external strategic messages for CDREN or any other identified spokesperson in France or abroad
- Ensure the link with the teams abroad and validate the coherence of the strategic messages.
- Ensure the necessary support for the deployment of all types of advocacy actions of the REN entity
- To deploy the work of influence in the interest of REN's reputation and participate in the implementation of its advocacy strategy on a perimeter that includes more than 5000 employees and whose RON is greater than $100M.
- Graduate from a university or business school (Science Po, HEC, Dauphine, etc.)
- At least 3 years experience in institutional relations and/or public affairs in France or abroad.
- Knowledge of the energy transition, the challenges of the energy world and the renewable energy markets.
- Ability to manage complex files, to work independently as well as in a team and in a transversal way in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent writing, interpersonal and listening skills.
- Versatility, autonomy, great rigor, initiative and strength of proposal, ability to analyze situations and to assert oneself in a very transverse environment.
