Head of High Touch Trading

The Head of High Touch Trading trading is responsible for the leadership, development, oversight, and performance of execution capabilities on Fixed Income and Equities, globally.
- Meet Common Management objectives pertaining to line reports;
- Lead a team of circa 15 to 25 traders spread over Paris, London and Zurich directly, and Asian as well as US locations on a totted reported line basis.
- Accountable for the effective management of the team's performance, ensuring they comply with the organisation's governance policies and procedures. Ensure all team members are clear on what is expected and how they are performing against KPIs
- Adhere to and promote AXA IM's Risk and Compliance Standards on a global basis as well as local specific requirements;
- Lead business development initiatives and ensure client centricity in all aspects of the business including support to sales pitches
- Act as a transformation leader for various projects including transformation of trading into an efficient data and analytics driven organisation, in particular partnering with the Electronic Trading & Data team to automate flows which only require limited human intervention
- Propose and implement enhancements to the organisation to reach and deliver a highly performing trading centre.
- Maintain control of organisational and operational efficiency through the design and regular review of relevant Key Performance Indicators. and address requirements of investment expertise;
- Drives the counterparties and brokers relationship management by maintaining insightful interactions and delivering high quality trading reviews;
- Representation at key internal and external meetings and ensuring robust governance is in place. This includes adhering to oversight of first level controls by the 1 st line oversight & controls team and attending the relevant governance;
- Market and industry participation: profiling activity of AXA nd AXA IM through recommended PR opportunities including contribution to conferences, associations (IA, AFG, EFAMA) and interaction with regulators (FCA, AMF, ACPR) to keep abreast of evolving direction.

Develop opportunistically Trading on behalf of 3 rd party servives to contribute to the portfolio services revenue center

**Votre Profil**

**Education/Qualifications**

**- **University Hons Degree**

**- **Professional qualifications as required by the Regulator (IMC, SFA)**

**Experience**

**- **Minimum of 10 years' experience in a trading and/or structuring background. The individual will ideally have traded across different market cycles with experience garnered across various asset classes and geographies;**

**- **Multi asset class experience with significant exposure to FI and/or Equities;**

**- **Extensive counterpart and other relevant networks including regulatory and peers;**

**- **A proven leader of inclusive trading teams within financial markets : minimum 5 years of management with experience of hiring and actively managing team activities**

**- **Experience of a global role;**

**Knowledge and Skills**

**- **Robust knowledge of relevant trading regulations; knowledge of investment industry and client investment processes is a plus.**

**- **Deep and established knowledge of markets functioning and drivers,**

**- **Highly accurate, analytical, mature communicator with strong interpersonal skills;**

**- **Must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly;**

**- **Proactive leadership and development of activity and individuals;**

**- **Anticipation of future business requirements;**

**- **Focus on high standards and delivery of outstanding client service through performance;**

- Must be able to manage large amounts of responsibilities and balance ownership with appropriate escalation and inclusion of line Manager;
