We are looking for a Head of Product Development, Financial Lines - based in Paris. **Your Team** Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) offers a suite of financial lines insurance solutions specifically designed to address the liabilities of companies, managers and professionals in today’s increasingly litigious and demanding business world. From specialist centers across the globe, we provide financial lines insurance for companies ranging from multi-nationals to smaller businesses - including a range of specialist solutions for Financial Institutions - and for individual directors and managers. And we pride ourselves on our flexibility, adjusting our underwriting to match the needs of our clients. **The Impact You Will Have** The product development unit systematically supports product development for all Financial Lines (FL) products worldwide. As part of this unit you will: draft, review and sign off new AGCS FL wordings, update existing AGCS FL wordings, review and negotiate broker FL wordings, review and sign off competitor FL wordings, draft marketing material and provide underwriter training, draft bespoke policies and endorsements, monitor legal developments to provide solutions, support the Financial Lines business and AGCS' profile as a solution provider by ensuring a flow of new product launches, steer and control the process of product development in Financial Lines. **Some of your specific responsibilities could include**: - Develop wording of local wordings in the MEDA and IberoLatam regions - Maintain wording /endorsement library - Develop bespoke client and broker wordings for facilities and one off accounts - Develop and tailor policy endorsements as required - Develop new products to support Financial Lines diversity and business growth aspirations - Monitor and research legal developments to transfer results into wordings and guidelines - Present new products externally to the market and internally to AGCS underwriting as necessary - Monitor and organise product development processes - Review of single tailor-made solutions to ensure legal consistency - Produce supporting marketing information for external use in relation to new and existing products **What You’ll Bring to the Role** - You will be legally qualified - You will be able to independently design, develop and implement consistent and robust local and bespoke wordings - You will be able to research, keeping abreast of legal developments as a basis for wordings and guidelines - You will have experience of robust monitoring of processes and legal requirements and carry out reviews - You will present new products and deliver supporting materials for external use - You will have developed expertise in Financial Lines products and product development - You will have high level legal skills and deep understanding of wordings and clauses - You will be able to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally, and to "sell" an improvised or prepared audience winning story - You will be able to persuade and motivate others to act, without executive authority - You will have a good understanding of legal and regulatory framework **Additional information** AGCS is dedicated to offering its employees an environment open for learning and development and hosts its own Underwriting Academy to drive continued excellence in underwriting and to better understand and serve our clients’ needs. 17479 | Underwriting | Professional | Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty | Full-Time | Permanent **What’s in it for you?** Let’s care about everything that makes you, you We are committed to nurturing an inclusive environment where everyone feels they belong.
