Pricing Actuary

The goal is to act as a technical expert on pan-European tenders.
Reporting to the Head of Pre-sales within the Product & Pricing office, you'll also be involved in the early stages of the insurance product creation process. Your role involves modeling algorithms and conducting pricing approaches to understand and measure the risks associated with potential new business ventures for the company.
Supporting your Head of Pricing, your role includes:
- Ensuring technical studies for responses to tenders.
- Conducting risk analysis and pricing studies for the creation of new various non-life insurance products.
- Presenting study results to the Head of Product and validation committees.
- Participating in studies for the revaluation and recovery of portfolios requiring specific follow-up in direct collaboration with sales teams.
- Supporting the sales department for client presentations or reassessment actions.
- Defining technical guidelines/recommendations for the creation/evolution of products and designing management tools and methods.

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and qualities:
- Actuarial background on P&C business, providing you with the expertise needed for this role.
- Relevant experience, including a prior involvement in non-life Insurance pricing.
- Relevant skills and a keen interest in modeling and pricing analyses.
- Proficient in programming languages such as R, Python, and SAS.
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication, both spoken and written.
- Enjoying collaborative work with a strong emphasis on a project-oriented approach.
- Impact-driven with a focus on improving processes and insights.
- Enjoy problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Curious/inquisitive mind.
- Strong analytical and synthesis abilities.
- High level of organisation, attention to detail and accuracy.
