**Our role**
The Applied research manager France is in charge of fragrance technology support, research and development in order to promote Symrise Technologies in Consumer Fragrance and Fine Fragrance Business Units. He manages the team of project leaders in charge of sensory science and formulation. He is doing proactive research for new technologies taking into account competitor analysis. All these activities are in collaboration with BU Global category leaders.

Its activities include:

- In charge of Applied research laboratory France
- Management of Applied research team France
- Budget planning for Applied research France
- Coordination of Research Tax Credit
- Global R&D Innovation leader for Hair Care
- Local and regional support for FF, Deo, Skincare and Skin cleansing
- Collaboration with sales, FDM and BU category leaders to promote technologies
- Collaboration with Perfumers to validate technologies and predicting performance tools
- External and Internal technologies presentation (training Perfumer, customer, congress )
- Global innovation pipeline preparation in collaboration with other region applied research collaborators and BU category leaders.

- Utilizing deep expertise in fragrance technologies, physico-chemical properties, and cosmetic formulation.
- Managing and delivering technical reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Showcasing existing and emerging technologies with clarity and impact.
- Championing safety protocols within the laboratory.

Required Skills and Expertise:

- Proficiency with tools like SAP, M365 and Excel Stat.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong knowledge of fragrance behavior and cosmetic science.
