**Job description**:
The Finance, Accounting & Management Control (FAMC) academic department is looking for a Co-Head for a 3-year term. **This position is open to all French campuses.**

The Academic Department Co-Heads are jointly and collaboratively responsible for the management of their academic department. They share responsibility for courses according to the department's main areas of expertise and the team of Faculty members who predominantly teach in it.

Co-Heads of Department are an integral component of the Dean's Office team. It involves working in close collaboration with the Coordinator of the Department's research group, the Campus Associate Faculty Deans and all the other Heads of Department. Within the framework of ESSCA's strategic orientations for the development and enhancement of its activities and in compliance with the budget allocated annually to the Academic Department, your mission essentially consists of:
1 - Organising, motivating, and managing Faculty members team, including permanent and affiliate Faculty under his responsibility, and in close cooperation with the other Co-Head, the Office Manager, and the Pedagogical Coordinator:

- Organising the task assignments within the Faculty team members.
- Evaluating the performance and development needs of colleagues under his responsibility, conducting annual progress reviews, professional interviews, and contributing to Joint Evaluation Commission evaluations.
- Co-organising and co-facilitating monthly department meetings.
- Evaluating and validating the various time management processes of the Faculty team members (calendar of activities, activities outside the institution, off-site activities, exchange programs with partner universities, visitings...) and, in coordination with the other Co-Head of Department, the Office Manager and the Pedagogical Coordinator
- Evaluating and validating expenses related to the activity of the team and its members.

2 - Supervising the team's specialisations and courses and facilitating the smooth running of courses:

- Contributing to the quality of ESSCA's academic programs by participating in their development and in program committees and analysing course evaluations.
- Coordinating the completion of syllabi for courses managed by the team.
- Managing the ratios of permanent and qualified Faculty in line with national and international accreditations.
- Coordinating the management of external lecturers, including validation of their qualifications.

3 - Participating in the recruitment process for new permanent and affiliated faculty in the Department:

- Assessing the Department's teaching and research needs.
- Building and driving the Department's recruitment plan.
- Conducting the final hiring interview and providing feedback on the outcome.
- Ensuring the successful integration and development of newly recruited Faculty.

4 - Contributing to the well running of the School and Departments by participating in projects and committees related to recruitment, management, and development of the Faculty (FAMCO, Faculty and Research Committee...)

- Ability to lead and manage a team of research professors from diverse and international backgrounds
