**Job Description Summary**:
STEMCELL Technologies, a Canadian Global Biotech company, is looking for a Buyer for its french office located in Saint Égrève or UK office in Cambridge, to support our growing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for all activities pertaining to the purchase of materials for research, testing, and the production of STEMCELL products, while maintaining excellent supplier relationships. This is a new position that is supporting the growth of the company in Europe.

As this role supports our global manufacturing and requires strong command of the English language, please submit your resume in English.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage all aspects of purchases from requisition to delivery; issuing Purchase Orders, monitoring deliveries and invoices, maintaining ERP data integrity in accordance with Purchasing guidelines and best practices
- Assist with issues related to invoicing and/or delivery, follow up on returns or refunds for non-conforming materials
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships, act as an interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Actively seek and document cost savings contributing to the team's overall cost savings goals, and highlight areas of supply risk, communicating and escalating appropriately
- Participate in procurement related projects, including but not limited to, CAPEX purchases and workflow process enhancement projects

**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or 2 to 6 years experience in a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Suite
- Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Effectively manage day to day purchasing activities with a high degree of organization and attention to detail, effectively prioritizing tasks
- Experience with SAP or any other ERP systems required

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:
€40,600.00 - €55,000.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package that may include health benefits, retirement savings, and more (depending on region).
