Mission

We are looking for a Shipping Operator (M/F) for the Bulk Department of our BRS Shipbrokers' Paris office.

**Tasks**:
Shipping Operators work in cooperation with the Brokers and follow the operational and administrative management of the vessels under the fixed charter contracts (time charter, voyage/spot charter and COA). They communicate with the European and international team on a daily basis.
- Coordination with the CP Desk in Athens for the establishment of Charter Parties and Addenda
- Tracking/sending port arrival notices (ETA Notices) or Delivery Notices
- Verification and follow-up of travel instructions at loading and unloading
- Follow-up of the trip and management of all the obligations in the contract/CP and problems that may arise during the trip
- Management of potential disputes and the closing of contracts with counterparties (Laytimes, Claims, etc.)
- Invoicing/brokerage commission

Under the COAs, we track, with the broker(s), laycan/port declarations per load and vessel appointments under the terms of the contracts.
