Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.**: As Project Manager, you will oversee the execution of one or more robot integration projects (=design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of robotized production lines at our customers' sites) within the Body in White Business Unit of the Robotics Division in France, from order intake to final acceptance. You manage the project team. As the customer's sole point of contact, you are responsible for meeting contractual objectives in terms of quality, cost and deadlines for your projects, and for monitoring contract developments. You may be involved as early as the pre-order phase. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure that margins are respected, manage risks/opportunities, and update re-forecasts at the dates defined by the finance department. Result-oriented, you will ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at every stage of the project, and support your team in developing their skills. **Your responsibilities**: - Functional management of the project team (design office, purchasing, suppliers, site manager), guiding everyone's work towards the contractual objectives and identifying the resources needed to achieve the set objective, - Draw up project schedules, - Draw up and/or supervise the drafting of specifications, - Coordinate the actions of internal and external parties, communicate effectively and act as ABB's contractual representative to the customer, - Liaise with the finance department on the financial aspects of the project, supervising customer milestones, invoicing, costs, expenses and cash flow. - At the end of the project, provide feedback on project progress. **Your background**: - 5 years' higher education in Mechanical Engineering / Robotics / Industrial Automation - You have at least 5 years' experience in industry, as a project manager for complex projects (Projects > €1M sales) - Proven experience in managing industrial contracts, including costs, schedules and project suppliers/subcontractors - Good knowledge of the industrial sector, ideally the automotive industry. - Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent. - Strong communication, influencing and coaching skills, - Engineering degree or equivalent, ideally with a specialization in Project Management. - PMI (Project Management Institute) certification preferred if possible. - Fully operational in English - Short-term travel required **Benefits**: - Flexible work practices - Accident insurance - Healthcare plan **More about us**:
